Does age matter? & liabilities.

Men, gathers up. Yeah I'm gonna talk bout women. Not specifically bout em tho. Just want to bring up a topic bout age differences. Most of us men have a thing bout younger opposite. It's like a normal stuff to be in a relationship with a girl who's younger than us. People won't even mind if a 50 somethin dude got married with a 20 somethin girl. So what about if you have a relationship with a women who's older than you? Does it matter?

It's very subjective yes I know. It all comes down to preferences. So here's my opinion. It doesn't matter. The most important thing is bein comfortable with her. That's the most important thing. Even if she's cute and younger, beautiful a la *insert your fav singer/actresses/model*; it's useless if you are not comfortable with her. Heck yeah look is very temptin. Most of the time, look can be deceivin. But in the end, the only thing that can keep the relationship strong is trust and *ehem* love. What kind of love? Most of us men have taken lust into somethin that got to do with love which is somewhat, misunderstood. Ho no I'm not a love doctor, this is strictly my opinion. I'm sayin that lust (not a bad lust, just feelin of wantin to be with her forever etc, bad lust are you perverts out there :) comes after love. Not the other way round.

Love, another topic; is very hard and complex to understand. How can we know 'that' feelin we have fer her is really love? Some are lucky to have that 'love at first sight' gift and some have to grew with his companion before he can gain the feelin. That's where bein comfortable is important. How can you love someone if you're not comfortable with her at the 1st place? Ho yeah it might as well be lust. The bad lust. The big bad lust. It's magical that sometime, men end up bein happy with some type of women that's didn't get a higher rank in their preference's list be it in the look department, age dept etc etc. Because sometime the same type of women you overlooked before is the one who's really compatible with you. So when you ignore your strict preferences, anythin else doesn't matter.

So there's my verdict. Age differences doesn't matter. Not to say that there's anythin wrong with anythin. It just doesn't matter. I'm not comparin a group with another. This is not a comparison nor a "this vs that" crap. No matter what, if you feel you're comfortable with her and likewise, don't be bothered by anythin else. Nobody is gettin younger anyway. Most of all, I still think older women are sexier (Note: sexy doesn't mean *bare more/wear less* propaganda, a simple person can be sexy too just fer bein funny etc.).

My account gone minus this month. Haha. Am I worried? A bit. But Thank God I got a few side income to cover it. So no hard damage done. Ah well, only if I can make some liabilities a productive assets. So this is how it feels to own a car LoL.

I just received my recent photoes with Momoe. Just brings out all the good memories in an instant. :).

Fractured will be playin in Kuala Lumpur this July!

Talks has it that me and Fractured will be playin at Gegaran Metal [?] (I don't know what number it will be because I lost track.) on 10th July 2005!. Fahmi (my drummer) called me just now to confirm it and hopefully we will get the chance to play in it because anythin can happen in between of the scheduled gigs. If we get the spot, we will be playin along with some big names in Malaysian underground metal scene. Wow. This is it. This is the time! *fingers crossed*.

Next week we (Fractured) will be practicin our new songs and we hope to play those songs at the upcomin gigs. Yeah! \m/.

Oh, fergot to add, if any of my real life friends didn't show up fer this upcomin gigs, I'LL FREAKIN SKIN YOU ALIVE MESELF!! LoL :D. More infos will be shamelessly revealed as soon as I heard/read/saw it. Later.

bush is sellin his democracy again. Now to the Iranians.

Like a drunk cowboy, he's doin it again. Who? It's the U.S president Mr. Bush. Doin what? He's now preparin to attack iran. I don't know what he'll call this war this time around. "Retaliation" is so yesterday. Probably some other sweet bullshits with "Democracy" in it. Call it "Forward Defense" or any other racist propaganda you want, it's still genocide. So what if I killed someone because he has a knife in his kitchen and someday I 'think' he'll use it against me. Now I would love to call that "Forward Defense". Heck it's the same thing isn't it? Oh no. It's different. Because I'm killin 1 or perhaps a few person, now that's inhuman and I'll get death sentence fer that. Mr. Bush and his regime of warmongers on the other hand, are killin thousands even millions and that is different. They call it "the beacon of democracy". In a way, he's right bout the 'beacon' thing. It's shinin brightly and blindin all our sights. He's still at the office sittin proudly as the U.S president while the murders continues. It's just war. Oh and never forget bout oil too. Heck he's not even doin any fightin in any of his war. I recall his words "Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists". Ah, how democratic.

I feel sorry fer those Iranians. And Iraqis, and Afghanis, and Vietnamese, and Japanese, and Cubans, and the whole world and I feel sorry fer Americans includin their soldiers because we; peace lovin human have to cope with those bunch of bloodthirsty "leaders" who'll do everythin in their power to make our lives miserable. What did these guys do that makes you want to waste their lives so much? Oh, I forgot bout oil. Sorry, my bad. Oh, is it about the WTC incident? Don't tell me you believed what Bush told you bout the 'terrorist attack'. Even White House are havin a hard time with all the inaccuracies contained in the official report. I'm not gonna write my assumption of the incident because many websites like 911 Research are doin a better job. So is it bout Mr. Osama? The caveman guy? The guy with a worldwide terrorist network, with loads of money and armies so advanced we didn't see em goin head to head with coalition army. Don't forget he was sponsored by CIA to fight russian in Afghanistan-Russian war before. But we do know that it was somethin bout Saddam, the old-friend of Americans on Iran-Iraq war before. Oh, now it's about nuclear. Right. Nuclear. North Korea have nuclear weapon, we all know it but Mr. Bush is too scared to do anythin bout it. Not to mention that his current propaganda is to make Muslims miserable. North Koreans ain't Muslim so he won't be botherin them fer a while. But, but, Israel have nuclear weapons too! Oh waittttt, it's 'Anti-Semite' to talk bout them and they are U.S allies so they're out of the list fer sure.

Don't ask what the Americans will do bout their leader's bloodthirsty behavior. Ask what the Muslim leaders are doin. I bet it'll be another letters of condemnation or somethin. It'll be just that. Even if the Iranians are Shiite, what have they done to make you hate them so much? They're human too damnit! Oh heck you didn't even help the poor Iraqis although they're Sunnies. Or even the poor Afghanis. Don't even try to bring Palestinians into the picture. They're long abandoned by their 'muslim' neighbours. Some of the Muslim countries are even givin extra facilities fer the insane armies just to make their Muslim neighbours miserable. It's pathetic to think that they; the so called 'muslim' leaders knows the power of Allah and yet, they are slaves to luxuries and power.

One thing I want to clear up, I'm not with any sort of terrorism, racism or war. I hate war. It disgust me. Have we not learn from the past? How many more lives must be taken before our greed is satisfied? Fer those who'll say "hey you're Muslim bla bla bla", stop. Stop lookin at me from religion's perspective. Look at me as a human bein. Maybe, just maybe, you'll value my life a bit even if not as much as yours.

May God bless the souls of the people who died in terrible wars made by diabolical leaders. Put down your guns. Go home. This world is too big to keep by yourself. Later.

Listen to J-Fan Radio (no need fer English-Japanese dictionary)

J-Pop fans rejoice! J-Fan Radio is the place fer you to listen to J-Pop online radio stream. The main site also have tons of info on J-Pop culture be it music, anime, manga etc. I'm currently searchin fer this Japanese jazz song which I heard over an anime movie. A sweet jazzy tune but I'm still hopeless in findin the singer/name of the song. J-Fan Radio here stream not only music from albums, they also put anime songs in it so there's still hope fer it. They also put a donation request to help the free J-Fan Radio to grow. Tanosimimasyo! Later.

FreeURL gone wacko, again.

Currently my FreeURL's url redirectin service has gone wacko and it's askin fer username and password if I want to go to http://www.alsemo.isdangerous.com (my webby's short url). Now that sucks. I don't know what happened but it seem that all the other website that uses FreeURL service are havin the same problem. Even the FreeURL website are havin some sorta problem. So, it's better to keep this url in mind (like a deja vu, I know I wrote somethin like this before... Hmm...):

http://home.graffiti.net/Alsemo/

If you can't see any graphic on the intro page then you might missed out the endin "/". If you hate the intro page (awwww...) then be my guest and hit straight to:

http://home.graffiti.net/Alsemo/main.html

I'll probably find another short url but I really like FreeURL's because I've been usin that fer years now. Hope it's just a temporary problem they're havin. Later.

Meetin, volcanoes wakin up, luxurious Marukku, ADSL splitter damaged & songs.

Bosses always knew how to hit you with a good point that you can't figure out how to defend yourself from instantly. Oh yeah so there was a meetin today and I got flamed. Again. And it's always after the meetin that I managed to think of some great excuses that can save my lazy arse back then. Sheesh. Anyway some of the things I expect him to spill out, did came out from his mouth. Like my hair fer example. The disapprovin tone bout my hair has finally made it to the meetin. Ah well, I got nothin against tyin my hair. Can't blame him tho, I'm always a rebellious (I am rebellious only when I'm right, don't get me wrong.) type and my hair seems like the most valid point.

Did you heard/read/saw the news bout a bunch of volcano activities around Indonesia? As reported in Berita Harian (Bahasa Malaysian news, keep your English-Bahasa Malaysia dict handy), 11 volcanoes around Indonesia is currently bein monitored because of the volcanic activities. Should we worry bout it? I mean, we're Malaysian and we don't have active volcanoes standin on our ground. Now that's where you're wrong. We should be worry. If fact, prepare to be slightly panicked. Remember 1883 - Krakatoa explosion? I don't remember anythin bout it because I was not born yet but you can read the link. It's still listed as one of the worst disaster. Now tell me why we should not be worried bout this. I mean. 11 volcanoes dude! Even the long retired Krakatoa volcano has a child (called Anak Krakatau = Child of Krakatoa)!. If you read the link bout the all-time famous Krakatoa Volcano, you can see the Krakatoa island before and after the great explosion. Now tell me we should not be worried bout this (I'm repeatin meself, I know..). If you managed to get the hard copy of Berita Harian, you can see the placement of those 11 most active volcanoes. They're basically surroundin the whole southern part of Malaysia. Volcanic eruption = bad. More on this later. This is scary and terrifyingly interestin at the same time.

I was havin a mid-evenin ride with my bike this evenin, searchin fer a pack of Marukku (an Indian style of munchies, like twisties but made from traditional indian ingredients, don't ask me what in it.) without any luck. Heck it's always like that. Everytime you really want somethin, you'll surely have a hard time findin it. So I got home and I went to the nearest supermarket to buy it. RM3.20 fer 350grams of marukku which I know they sell the same amount fer only RM1 or RM1.50 at the bus terminal. It's not even a festive day fer all I care! Ah well, at least the taste is still great. Yum!

My sister accidently stepped on the phone line a my adsl splitter was damaged. So now we have to swap usage. But I got the veto vote because it doesn't mean anythin if I can't use my "always on" broadband connection. Moral of the story, never let yourself got tripped on the phone line because you might lose the phone line's benefit if your brother pay fer Streamyx/any other broadband service. :D.

Songs fer today is:

Chantal Kravianuk (whatever her name is) - Armageddon OST - Leavin On A Jet Plane.

Stone Temple Pilots - Purple - Interstate Love Song.

Stone Temple Pilots - Purple - Still Remains.

*sigh*... Later.

A date with Momoe

The net buddies meet up went on just fine. So is my 1st date with Momoe. Who? She's the japanese girl I said who would come to Malaysia. And she came. She's still here and her flight back to Japan is on this wednesday. I didn't and won't get any more days off tho so I can't be with her on (last) Monday onward.

Yeah I was pretty much nervous. To meet the one you've been emailin fer quite a long time (more than a year) and finally you're meetin her/him in person. She was plannin to come to Singapore to catch the gigs Fractured played but unfortunately she can't get any ticket from Japan to Singapore. I've also blew her plannin fer last August 2004 so her would be trip to Malaysia back then was also screwed. Also screwed up another of her plan a few month after that too. My bad. So, to avoid meself from turnin another one of her trip to another repeated disaster, I gave the green light as soon as she mentioned somethin bout comin to Malaysia on 09/04/2005 (last Saturday) although the Singapore gigs has made a major hole in my pocket.

We're supposed to meet at the lobby of her hotel but I was late fer a few mins. Ack. Bein late fer a 1st date is a no no but KL is a very strange place fer driver comin from other state like me. To make it short, I was lost. Not lost while drivin, I was lost while walkin to her hotel. Yeah, it was that bad. I was already a few hours late fer the net buddies meet up because I have to do some servicin fer my car. But I managed to keep the delay to a minimum so *I guess* Momoe is not that angry with me :D.

So we meet at about 8:00PM somethin because she went back to her room to call me up. How was it? It's kinda awkward. Because I dunno if I should bow, or shake hands; that sorta stuff. Not to mention that it's the 1st real date. Lucky me my sister let me use her mobile fer 2 days so I was not completely out of reach. In fact I borrow my sister's mobile just fer that special occasion ;). So we met, I was about to make a Japanese style bow when she offered her hand. I was saved from the unfortunate humiliation :D. 1st phase was completed successfully.

I'm lucky too because now that I have my own car, I'm not tied to KL public transport's timetable. That's currently the only good point in havin my own transport as I was left with another problem. I don't know anythin bout drivin in KL. So somehow I sucks. We went to KLCC, had some Malaysian dishes, went to a late night TehTarik session (thanks Isman fer showin us your fav TT spot & a place fer me to stay that night), went to Teluk Kemang and Blue Lagoon in Port Dickson on Sunday (I was late, *sigh*, again).

Fun time really flies and before we know it, Sunday is wavin its hand to say goodbye. I hope she enjoyed her 1st trip to Malaysia although I'm a lousy tourist guide, broke, non-punctual & I didn't get more days off. Somehow I'm not satisfied because she could go to more nice places and enjoy many more things that Malaysia has to offer. And honestly I'm sad because she got nobody to go out with on Monday till this Wednesday, the day she'll go back to Japan. I don't know if I will be there to see her board her flight on Wednesday. Not to mention she can't call me up because my sister has taken her mobile back. I even fergot to ask her room number. *sigh*. I'm hopeless and it breaks my heart.

Net buddies meet up, Streamyx ain't fast right now & Singapore's gigs picture.

I'm goin to KL tomorrow fer a small gatherin with a few of my long time net buddies. Tomorrow too will be my 1st time drivin on the crazy roads of KL. Oh yeah I did mention drivin. My last car loan application was accepted so I've add another commitment in life. No more drenched in rain! No more hot sun! I can hear songs while on the road! Oh, oil price has been raised again... Drats. Back to the gatherin, I'll probably be in KLCC and/or anywhere there's chicks can be seen roamin the area. If you're my net buddy, do come. To my long lost net buddies, really misses you guys so come and join us too! Got a date too tomorrow, after the gatherin with an oversea friend. After a few plans that went kaput, Momoe will finally come to Malaysia tomorrow. Another event I've been waitin fer.

The net has been slow this past few days. Even at my office which uses 1Mb Streamyx connection. Now what the heck are the guys at TMNet are doin right now? I don't have any idea but I do hope this slowness will be a brief encounter. I have a "The document contains no data" problem with blogger just now. I don't know if you guys are experiencin the same problem as I have. So, rather than editin my previous post, I was left with the option of copyin the entire post, deletin it and do a repostin of the edited version of the blog. Sheesh.

Thanks to Venibbeth (Fleurs Du Mal's guitarist), I now have Fractured band picture when we was in Singapore. Expect the picture to be uploaded into my homepage soon. More pictures will be comin soon as Faiz is processin his films. I'm startin to miss the video we took. That too, will be soon. Later.

p/s: I tried postin this blog but still got this annoyin "The document contains no data" bs. Drats..

The Singapore's experiences.

I promised to tell somethin bout my Singapore gigs's experience so here I am. Sorry fer the delay because there's currently many things that came in the way. Anyway, on with my story.

It was quite a surprise, my experience in Singapore I mean. I always thought that the people there is not much of a friendly bunch. I mean, who knows what other people in other countries are like anyway. We (Fractured) are foreigners anyway and Singapore is not our turf so it's nobody's fault if we're ignored and such. But it didn't happen that way. All the people that got anythin to do with us and the gigs is friendly.

We left Seremban around 10:30AM on Friday and went straight to Johor Bahru. We made a few plans like goin straight to Singapore / takin a train ride but in the end, goin to JB 1st seems like a good idea. We can have a rest beforehand and chill out in JB or somethin. We, all the 5 of us (Me, Fahmi, Dayne, Hangah and Faiz the camera dude) rented a RM30 room fit fer 3 person max and ho boy it was quite chaotic. The aircond was broken and it's like sleepin in a hot stove there. So I slept on the floor. It was in JB that I knew the name of the gigs. It was "Infestation of Evil Fest 2005". Cool huh? :). Fractured was listed on top of other bands like we're headlinin the gigs and we was nervous like mad. Who ain't anyway. The part in the flyers that I like the most is that they'll make an official DVD/Vcd out of the entire show. Yay!. Expect that vid to be in my private collection when it's available.

We crossed the Johor - Singapore border around 10:00AM on Saturday mornin. We went to this guy; Fadzil's shop beforehand and fill up our white cards (the card fer us to go to Singapore.. Don't ask me I dunno. It's the law). All of us except fer Fahmi got to Singapore's Immigration with no difficulties. Fahmi's Iron Cobra which he brought in it's box case caught much unwanted attention to the Immigration officers. So he had to open his bag, the Iron Cobra's box etc etc you know the drills. Fer a 1st experience, it sucks to be searched like that but heck, it's forgiven. Fahmi got the same encounter on our way back to Malaysia by our own Malaysian Immigration officer. Heck I pity him.

It was a brief trip, crossin the border. The scenery is not totally different from ours except fer cool cars. Oh the city is clean too. It's more bout money over there. Here you can have a decent meal with take as many as you want servet/tissue. Over there in Singapore, I have to buy the tissue. Somebody said "ciggy"? Ho boy cigarette over there is expensive. Very expensive. A pack of Marlboro will cost you around SD11.++. Yeah I'm talkin bout Singapore Dollar. So we bought a pack of our fav flavor right from JB. A person can't cross with more than 1 pack of ciggy tho. After we arrive at Keranji, we waited fer Fadzil and his gang because he's the one who knows bout the place the gigs will be.

We got to Planet Paradigm (where our gigs was held) around 11 o'clock or somethin. Man that place is big. There was a stage and the mosh pit is big. We got a chance to do a soundcheck so after a few brief thoughts, we went fer At The Gates - Blinded By Fear cover. It was my 1st time usin Boss Mega Distortion with my bass guitar fer a gigs and it was way great! The soundcheck went well so we went out (the gigs start at 3PM) to find ourselves somethin to munch. Mc Donalds got the highest vote so we went to the nearest McD which is bout 10 mins walk. It was my 1st time eatin Big Mac because I'm allergic to meat (except fer chicken). Fergot to tell Faiz bout that and he already ordered the Biggies. Except fer a brief nausea, the Big Mac didn't kill me. Phew I was lucky because in my last experience, I went blank and fainted. I was fine durin our show too. Would I eat Big Mac again? No and they invented Mc Chicken fer guys like me. Duh.

We got to be the 6th act that day and my wish came true. Like I've said, performin too early and there'll be not much of a crowd and perform too late the crowds are tired. But is there any crowd? Includin all the bands performin, we got 100+ people in it. Not much of a crowd but considerin that there was a big gigs a week before and a week after ours, it's pretty much predicted. Did it burn our anxiety? Hell no! We; Fractured really enjoyed our show. All of us axemen, even includin Hangah headbang throughout our performance. I even did a request fer the crowd to headbang on the middle of Dimension Zero - Immaculate cover but nobody responded. LoL. Ah well, at least we know that we really enjoyed playin the whole 6 songs. What did we perform?

1) The Bodybag (Inside The Bodybag in the demo)
2) War Of The Lords (War Of The Gods in the demo)
3) Once Stabbed
4) The Haunted - Tresspass cover
5) Dimension Zero - Immaculate cover
6) At The Gates - Blinded By Fear cover

I guess people do enjoy the show but they just don't headbang. Not only on our turn, but basically on all of the bands's performance. Well, as long as people do enjoy themselves, it's AOK fer me. Fleurs Du Mal didn't perform because their drummer had a bad accident with broken leg(s). We're sorry to hear the news. Anyway two of FDM's army did came to the gigs so it's cool. Maybe someday soon we'll get the chance to perform together. Oh they're friendly bunch too.

After the show, we was taken to the place we will be livin fer that night. It was at Coxscrew Studio. It's a damn nice place. The crews is friendly and they even took the burden to bring our equipments with em so that we; Fractured are freed from carryin those heavy stuff with us. It was a 20mins walk from Planet Paradigm. As we arrived, the 1st thing I did was take a peek at the recorded vid from Fahmi's camcorder. The extra nice guys at studio even cook fer us that night! I viewed the vid a few times until I got very sleepy.

The next mornin, one of CS Studio's crew took us fer breakfast and he paid fer all of it. Man can anybody be friendlier than that? We had a short tour around and we went to a shoppin complex to kill some time. There's many guitar shop and the goodies are cheap! You can get a cool lookin B.C Rich Warlock fer bout RM800! No luck on findin my all time fav Ibanez EDA 4 Strings tho but I'm sure it's on sale somewhere. Why is it so hard to find good stuph fer bassist everywhere? Drats. Our Seremban bus was scheduled to leave at 5:30PM so we pretty much got many free time doin some window shoppin.

We left Larkin, JB at 5:30 knowin that we've made good friends over there at Singapore. Someday we'll meet again my friends! We're scheduled to arrive at Seremban somewhere around 9:30 but there was a major traffic jam at Lipis/Pedas so the bus went out from the highway to use the country road. It was a bad idea because there was a flood and to make it worst, the bus's baggage compartment opened out of some freak failure and a car accidently hit it. Some repairin session, driver to driver discussion and police report afterward, we finally arrive at Seremban around 12. What an experience. But overall, it was a great memories. Unforgettable. We really had fun all the way till the end. I didn't get any goth chicks tho so it sucks somewhere haha.

Countless respect goes to Coxscrew Studio crews fer providin us with a comfortable place to stay after the show. Thanks fer the homemade foods too!. To Fadzil's crew too and his band Terkutuk which sadly didn't get the chance to perform at the gigs. Kudos to the bands who gigged with us that evenin. To the crowds. You were all great people. I personally hope that Fractured will have the chance to perform with/infront of you guys again. \m/

Arieses rejoice! This month is ours! Yeah well so my birthday is just around the corner. I'll be 27 very soon. Heck I'm that old already. Sheesh. It seems like yesterday that I went to school. So many memories. I'm thinkin bout my mom. Miss her very much. Nobody special to celebrate my birthday with. Heck it's no surprise. Would be glad if this year is different. Heh. Anyway, be prepared to sing the all time favorite "Happy birthday to you" song aye! Later.

My grandmother died. Al-Fatihah.

My cousin called just now sayin that my only grandmother I had left has passed away peacefully today. I'm goin to the hospital now. Can't contact my big sis tho. Dunno where she is right now. Later.

I'm back and feelin good! (tired too..)

I just got home. My bus departed at 5:30PM from Larkin, Johor Bahru and many things just happened on the way. Ho boy I got lotsa things to write bout my 1st experience in Singapore. But, I'm too tired to start it, not to mention I'm very hungry right now. So I thought I better save the good stuff fer tomorrow. A teaser though. It was great! So, later then.
