Streamyx, AngelClaw, Elantra and E-Cover Note

It've been a long time since I last put somethin in this aye? Ah well, streamyx thingy (not again...). They called a few weeks ago askin if I still want the darn streamyx because the last registration was expired or cancelled or somethin like that. "If I still want the streamyx.."? Heck yes I do! Anyway, My previous user id was useless fer the new registration and I was given another silly user id fer a change. Urhh.. *breath in - breath out*. I think I might get a heart attack or high blood pressure or anythin as fatal if this keeps goin on. Still no information on the streamyx stuff. I dunno if my place is within streamyx's area or not. Nada. Zilt info. *breath in - breath out*.

Still no idea on AngelClaw's new song. Ack. I just noticed that my TR's volume knob is faulty. Heck. There's a guy who borrowed my bass after me and Fractured performed (The Musician Gathering's gigs) and I don't use volume knob much so my guess is that that guy broke it. ah. Might as well buy a new volume knob and do a rewirin. There's an Ibanez SoundGear fer sale at a very attractive price. Yeah, 4 strings. I used to like 5 stringers before but considerin that I'm not that pro of a bassplayer, 4 stringers is enough.

Still havent got the recorded gigs. Nuar & Fahmi played in a contest a few weeks ago and I saw their recorded video. Cool. It was Nuar's 1st time playin infront of a crowd and he was good. I can't wait to see my video!!!

Bout the Elantra. I didn't get it. It's the car's fault. Finance said that the war had the engine changed more than once and if I get the same model with the same year it'll be ok. Yeah whatever. Such a fuss.

E-Cover Note. Nice phrase. Somewhat techie aye? Well. Almost. I tested 2 online insurance cover note website and both need IE to behave correctly. I can use Opera on 1 but not the other. The other can use Mozilla but it's a no no fer that previous. Now what made they think that EVERYBODY uses IE? urhhh.

I just blew a job interview a few days ago because it was schedule at a very unattainable time. Drats. I emailed my reason fer not attendin the interview but no reply. There it goes. Just like that. Ah well. Better luck next time.

Fractured @ Musician Gathering Gigs

I just got back from my friend's house today. The gigs yesterday was awesome and it was actually a bit surprise to me. Why? Because it's supposed to be a 'rojak' gigs of many musical genre and my band (Fractured) is the only death metal band in it. Ack! We were on the 8th list to play that day and all, except 1 band before us played punk & rock stuph I won't bother to go to the details. The majority of the crowd is uhm, punk and I personally thought that we, Fractured will be another unaccepted performance in it.

To my surprise, on our openin act; 'The Bodybag' taken from our demo people do headbang in front of me and it's way cool! That boosted my spirit and heck it's a great show. I still got cramps on my neck right now. A friend of mine recorded us playin cover of Dimension Zero - Immaculate and it's fun to see how I performed. Darn I want a copy of that video so much! To those who came and headbang with us, thanks a gazillion! It's a great honour to be playin in front of you guys.

4th September gigs

The 4th of September gigs is still on and last night was my 1st jam session with Fractured. We're goin to perform 3 of the demo's songs and probably another 3 cover songs. Yeah, 6 songs in total. Urgh. It's puttin pressure fer sure though it's fun indeed. Ah. Wanna know a secret? Actually, the demo has no lyric whatsoever :). Seriously. But now I've made 2 of the song's lyrics and another 2 comin up soon. It's kinda hard to make lyrics when someone has already sung it coz I have to get the lyric fits in whatever the heck the ex-vocalist was singin. The songs in the demo is:

This titles is as written on the demo album. I've personally changed some of the song's title to fit my lyrics which I've made. As I've said, we're gonna perform 6 songs and I hope to see some of you guys there. Where? Oh, we still have no details on the exact location, time etc but it's suppose to be somewhere at Jalan Pekeliling near ITAR (or ITTAR, yeah the Institut Tun Abdul Razak I guess). More on that later when I get the full details.

Our 1st jam session (with me as the new lineup) was awesome. We're jammin again tonight coz the gigs dateline is very near. I still fergot many of the lyrics (like the cover songs etc, not to mention the demo songs which don't have lyrics at all.. Ack!) and I hope I won't mess the band's performance later.

It seems that a "Tribute To Metallica" gigs was schedule on the same day as my band's gigs.

I have to spend less time on the net coz my bill was killin me. Drats. Where the hell is my StreamyX!!! Later.

Gigs.. Finally!! But..

It've been a while since I blog eh? Yeah well. It's not payday yet so my financial budget are a mess right now. Heh.

Gigs. Ah. Know wut? If things goes well as planned, I'll be able to play gigs somewhere around September (probably 4th of September). But the thing is, it's not with my band. Fahmi's other band, Fractured has once again caught up in lineup mess and I was invited to replace the bassist AND the vocalist. Ack. I'll call up Nuar later fer his opinion. Can I manage it? Fer now, I can try. The problem is, Fractured is quite.. Uhm.. How should I put it.. Ah, established. They made their 1st demo and it's already in store. Fillin in the spot like bass stuff is managable, but the vocal part is what bothers me. I don't have the type of 'growl' like in the demo (which I haven't had the chance to listen to, yet. But Fahmi will give it to me coz I need to practise. Soon) and to sound like someone else is kinda hard. Well, my band AngelClaw play metal too, so what's the difference? Ah, good question. It's a bit more complicated than that.

AngelClaw feels like home because basically, it's MY band and I play and sing what I feel. Fractured is somethin else. Like I've said, I'll have to sing like the original vocalist and that I'm sure is gonna need a lot of effort from me. Dual role is hard too. Playin bass AND bein the main vocalist. Not that it's somethin bad because I AM the bassist and vocalist fer AngelClaw but now I'll have to double that. Doublin my dual role. I hope I won't get any brain tumor or somethin.

I'll confirm the gigs later. Mebbe you can see me there if I play. More on it later I hope.

Somethin wrong yesterday, I dunno whether it's my box or www.blogger.com. I wrote a blog and when I push the [Publish Post] button, my blog didn't publish and I was left in the edit page. So I went button-frenzy and after a few mins, I gave up. When I open my blogsite usin MSIE, I was shocked to see that I've about 20+ copies of the same blog (the one I was tryin to publish). Ouch. I'm still havin the same problem just now.

Jammin & Stigmata

Yeah! Nuar came back last night and it only mean 1 thing.. Jam! Woohoo! Another 4 hours of physical torture. I love it! As it've been a long time since our last jam session, I'm sure I've fergotten a few part of the songs. Ack.

Yum! I've just got meself the rarest Arch Enemy album to find (in Malaysia..) Stigmata. Ah, now I've got all 4. Yummy. Just yummy.

8910 & Elantra

Yeah, probably I'll get that 1992 Hyundai Elantra by the next week or so. Eep. Didn't realized that it's so soon. I just booked meself a new phone (not a brand new phone, but a new phone fer me) and my budget fer this month are really tight. Well, if not now, then when? I guess I'll better get use to the new budgetin plan so I can work harder to find more money to burn. :).

The current car's state is not much of an eye candy but I got plans fer it. I haven't got the chance to test the engine (haven't done a test drive yet) so I got no clue on that. Exterior is ok, with a minor scratch on the right body (fergiven). The interior is not in my likin because it has front and rear leather seats (black). Ouch. I hate leather seats. And I hate black leather seats. It'll be hot as hell when drivin in a sunny afternoon. The front bumper is dented a bit on the right side, probably a minor accident but as long as the body is ok (no welded parts etc), it's fine with me. Surely there will be a few repairin works to be done. It's a used car anyway.

What phone? Ah, I wanna buy 8910 (titanium). If Syah got the model right, the phone will be mine by the end of this month. Actually I wasn't hopin fer the car and the phone deal was a real quick deal so that's why I gave the phone deal a go. All of a sudden, my friend (from the used-car company) said that he agrees with my term of price (Hurrah!) and the deal is on. Ack.

2 things that will suck my wallet dry. Hopefully, I'll get that favourite phone of mine and fer the first time, I'll have my own car. Now, work harder.....

Gettin to know, greedy & code rewritten.

There's a girl currently who had my mobile number and sms me bout 'gettin to know - let's be friend' stuff. Ack. Not a bad thing but (yeah there's a but) I dunno if I'm that friendly enough (in a sense) to be made a friend (fer female). I don't differentiate between male and female friends and I treat em both the same (even the gua lu slang when talkin but not all of em though.). Better change that. Anyway, let's see how long she can stand bein my friend. *grins*.

I've started bein greedy now. I do many things I didn't (don't have the time to) do now. Fer example, I work in a used-car cum insurance company so now me myself sell car, and I'm gettin active with me bein a Takaful Nasional's agent. Oh, no more pendin fer computer related freelance job (repair etc) and I'll do it after work. I have to. I really want that darn Elantra. Ahah!

p/s: My boss just got that hint today. He said the car is nice and I can buy it. Ah... What does it mean? Don't ask me, I dunno.

Layout cleaup

Phew. I've done cleanin up the layout / html tags of my homepage. Now theorically all browser in earth can access my website. Even lynx, links and any other text-only web browser. Yeah. Support the non browser-specific www!.

My sister is still hackin some program fer her assignment. Even I'm caught with it. Hah. I got meself some compiler and it's fun to hack together. I can learn C++ at the same time. Yeah I don't know C++, yet. Oh. Hackin = hackers? Depends on which 'hacker' are you thinkin. The media's term of 'hacker' or programmer's term of 'hacker'. Both are different. Don't get confused with 'cracker' and 'hacker'.

Someone came to my office this evenin, talkin bout buyin a Kenari which is on sale and he said he's gonna cash out some money fer bookin and never came back. Weird. I even gave him the car keys so he can check the car but he didn't accept it. Extra weird. Peoples nowaday. He just ask, not tryin to steal it or anythin, confirmin fer bookin payment and gone.

Is your website too dependant of a specific web browser and inaccessible by some or others? Then change! Say NO to browser specific tags/functions/features. I'll update my homepage later after work in support fer this campaign. Take note that "accessibility" and "look nice" is a different thing. Lookin nice while viewed with Mozilla and not so nice on others doesn't make the site browser specific site as long as it's accessible by all type of browser and the main features is functional. More on this later.

Emma on C++

My kid sister is doin some C++ programmin. Wow. It's quite a surprise fer me. She, the one who had never bother anythin related to computer is now doin some programmin (well it's in her study course). Great. And I'm a bit jealous too! :). I wanted to learn C++ fer years and now my kid sister is actually programmin in C++. Ah well, I might as well learn from her. Now I'm tryin to persuade her to dual boot FreeBSD. Hehe. Who knows, she might be a FreeBSD contributor and write some code fer FreeBSD. Not a bad idea huh. My kid sister, hackin FreeBSD. Wow.

Layout rewritten.

Phew. My homepage's new layout is complete (fer now) and Mozilla friendly. MSIE and Opera users would probably boo at the new layout but heck, can't help it. It's not me who screw up html implimentation. The full-screen mode now a lot nicer and (I hope) the scroller is no more when viewed in fullscreen. Such a fuss with a small thing huh? Yeah well, I'm still not satisfied yet.

My kid sister will arrive somewhere around 2/3 in the mornin tomorrow. I hope I'm not sleepy because I'm such a sleepiac (sleep maniac). I must be strong. Resist. the. temptation. of. ohhh comfy pillow.. *snore*.

My goatie is short now. Ack. Feels funny. Look funny. err. and nice.

The new layout.. kinda..

Urghh! I can't stand this. Every web browser wants to make their html standard as the standard and guess what? Plain html wont render the same on each different browser. Drats. I gave up. I was tryin to make (at least) Mozilla and IE render my homepage's layout nicely but those 2 are beasts. Ah well, better let the Mozilla as the reference browser and find a solution fer IE. Probably Javascript stuff. I dunno. I've been rewritin the same page fer hours now. Darn.

I did went out today. It's a borin experience. Nothin to do, on strict budget (Hah!) and the jam studio was booked till 10. Urh. I'm currently makin a homepage fer my company. I dunno if this is the right thing to do coz my everyday life might get even busier if my boss find out bout his company's website and likes it. So why the hell did I do it? Dunno. Just testin. The layout is still pretty rough, I have some idea on the would-be layout (which is nice in my head, maybe nicer if done or worst) but I think it'll probably take some time to finish it. Not gonna rush on that coz basically, nobody asked me to do it. Yeah. Sendiri cari pasal. :).

My kitten died.

My kitten, bebek got hit by a car this same mornin and died. Another of my fav kitten died of unnatural cause. Few month before that, my 3 out of 4 kittens got poisoned to death by an immoral neighbor. What kinda sick person would poison cats or kittens? If you don't like cats, just shoo em away. Surely some say "owner should keep their cats out of trouble" but think bout it damnit! It's CATS! You can't control cats! They're not like dogs which is tend to please their owner in everythin they do. Cats are survivalist and curious, they tend to do things that'll make em survive 1st and explore places / things. Puttin cats in cages is not good too. They need the freedom of movement.

I'm sad right now. Heck who ain't. To watch em grow, givin them cute names, gettin used to see them at home, enjoy seein them when they're in their play mood but you can't see them long enough to really enjoy it all. Sure, new kittens will be born, but every one of them are special in a way. They have their own personality, cuteness, mood and that what makes every one of them special.

Now, there's only 1 kitten left from the same age as bebek. I sure hope he can survive livin around irresponsible human bein which litters throughout this planet earth. I'm gonna miss bebek, and now my room will be the same borin room yet again.

Mozilla vs Opera

I've installed Mozilla Firefox on my laptop and I guess it's the end of service fer my old Opera 7.5. Blogger features are perfectly functional usin Mozilla than Opera so the choice have been made. Now I'm gonna make sure my homepage is compatible with Mozilla coz my reference browser all this long is Opera.

Today is a hot day, literary speakin. I got roasted.. again. *me pour some salt on the left arm and bite..* hmm.. taste quite good.

It's a 50/50 chance that my Japanese friend can come here. She said that she still haven't got any ticket yet and she's still tryin. Hmm. I hope she gets it.
